Tuesday is a special day on this blog, every Tuesday we will discuss a good place to cruise to. It doesn't have to be far, just far enough to feel like your getting away. Some of my favorite places to cruise to are within thirty minutes from where I live. You can cruise to a nearby lake, or park, or anywhere else that you can think of for you and even a friend to enjoy. Things to consider before you set out on your cruise is where your going, how much money you want it to cost you (especially with rising fuel prices), and what you want to do when you arrive at your destination. Cruising is pretty easy going but it is good to have a little bit of a plan, after all you don't want to get somewhere, look at each other and think well that was a waste!
Tuesday will also be a day that I may take the time out to share some of my favorite cruises. I have had a mustang for about two years now and I have gone on quite a few cruises. One of my favorites would be the day I hooked up with the Hot Rod Power Tour. The Power Tour is nothing but cool hot rods driving across the country. Last year they started in southern Florida and came straight up Highway 31 and ended in Detroit. I happen to live about five miles from 31 so when I heard they were coming I hopped in the car with one of my buddies and cruised with about 100,000 other cars up into Muskegon, Michigan to their next rest stop. I remember passing and getting passed by all kinds of cars, some that I had never seen before. It was truly an awesome experience that I know for sure will never be forgotten. Just another way my Mustang has given me another awesome memory.

An Evenings Drive
No matter what you drive, everyone likes to take a ride down the open road with something amazing to look at. This picture relates to me my Mustang, because it was taken in Phoenix, Arizona. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase my car in Phoenix and ship it back to Indiana. I did this because any vehicle that comes from somewhere that it doesnt snow, has never seen any road salt, and most likely is rust free. I relate to this because while I had the car there I got to experience a scene similar to this while I was just cruising with my brother. That is a memory I will never forget.
I relate this picture to my blog topic because its memories like these that make owning a Mustang so enjoyable. It isn't just the loud pipes, and going fast, it is where it takes you and the things it allows you to do once you get there. Most Mustang owners will look for places like this just to drive to, snap a few pictures of themselves and their cars, and drive back home. Without the exhaust humming behind them, and that little bit of extra horsepower at their toes that trip wouldn't be as enjoyable.
